Fully Automatic Pressure Sensor Characterization
ATV designed a test system that is capable of characterizing pressure sensors for defects and their electronic properties both individually - fixed on carrier plates - and in a wafer array.
The Solution consists of an optimized, customized wafer prober with an electrical test system and specially developed control software. For testing, the pressure sensors applied to the wafer are contacted by the prober via the integrated probe card and supplied with the necessary voltage by the connected test system. This way, each individual sensor can be tested for correct function, while ensuring maximum quality. This application is particularly relevant in the automotive sector with its high demands on accuracy. Data transmission and control of the system via a SECS/GEM interface is provided.
Thus, our customer can monitor with high reliability and high throughput the electronic properties of its pressure sensors on the wafer and verify the quality of the individual components during the entire production process.
