High-Power Semiconductor Testing – High Voltage up to 3 kV, High Current up to 100 A

Characterizing power semiconductors such as SiC MOSFETs and GaN HEMTs demands exceptional voltage, current, and safety capabilities. Our high-power measurement solutions are built on Keithley high-performance SMUs – the 2657A for voltages up to 3,000 V and the 2651A for currents up to 100 A DC. Combined with our ATV Power Test Platform (PTP), we offer a turnkey solution that unifies IV and CV measurements in a single automated run – no rewiring, no multiple wafer passes.

The ATV Power Test Platform (PTP) is the prime example of deep Keithley instrumentation integration into a turnkey test system. It unifies IV, CV, and high-current measurements in a single automated run on an MPI wafer probe system – controlled by Measmatic™. The PTP is built entirely on Keithley SMUs (2657A, 2651A, 2612B) and the PCT-CVU, integrated into a proprietary ATV HVC switch with low-leakage design (< 50 fA/V). This eliminates manual rewiring between IV and CV measurements, resulting in a substantial increase in system throughput.
